Rest, restore and rejuvenate on a coastal Retreat with sisters Sarah and Cheryl for a heavenly four nights of yoga practice and fitness in exquisite luxury accommodation in Devon, close to the world heritage Jurassic Coast. Take some time out to restore balance and harmony with nourishing and grounding yogic practices.
The retreat theme is Saucha - a Sanskrit word for cleansing. We will take you on a journey of yogic practices and meditation alongside healthy, holistic inspiration for living.
Each rising starts with a freshly pressed juice and morning mediation. You will be invited to explore a variety of yoga asana practices with daily dynamic yoga; Vinyasa and Ashtanga. Sarah will lovingly and playfully put you through your paces in daily energetic work out sessions. The evening practice will be an offering of meditation, restorative yoga and sound bathing to promote deep relaxation and release. We will join together for a cacao ceremony (a powerful plant medicine) alongside some light sound healing.
You will have ample free time to explore and reconnect to nature with walks, runs or however you wish.
We will have a skilful chef to provide delicious and carefully crafted plant based meals to leave you feeling satisfied and nourished.
Emerge feeling more grounded and reconnected to yourself having taken some time to recharge and relax.

Important Note for All Drivers using SatNav
EX24 6JF is a huge postcode and some SatNav systems WILL take you to the wrong property, or deep into Southleigh Valley where there is a poor phone signal. To avoid getting lost at the very end of your journey please read the following tips.
The best tip is to use your Sat Nav or road map to get you to Honiton, on the A30 in Devon. Then use the map we send you on booking for the last five miles. This will avoid errors and is really easy to follow.
(If you are looking at this on your phone whilst trying to find us, head out of Honiton on the A375 towards Sidmouth, for about two miles. You come to major crossroads, Putts Corner, with a large pub, The Hare and Hounds on the right. Turn left towards Seaton. Two miles along this road the country side opens up on both sides of the road and after two small turnings to your left, signed Southleigh, some white painted gates will appear on your left. This is the entrance to Higher Wiscombe. If you get as far as a brown sign to Blackberry Camp and Southleigh you have gone half a mile too far. Turn around and the white gates will be half a mile on your right. They have three signs on them saying Higher Wiscombe).
Our second tip to make sure that your Sat Nav gets you here first time is to use the co-ordinates below by entering them just prior to your departure into your Sat Nav.
These co-ordinates will take you to the entrance of Higher Wiscombe, which is on a good road, just off the A375 between Honiton and Sidmouth.
Healthy nutrition is the basis for life and we want all of our guests to experience the richness of freshly prepared vegan/vegetarian cuisine.
We will have an experienced chef/caterer who will be lovingly preparing your meals throughout the duration of your stay. Delicious plant based food will be prepared for you during your stay, using quality ingredients to nourish you.
Throughout your stay you can access a 24 hr tea/coffee bar. We will be serving you a daily two course brunch after your daily morning yoga practice. During the day you will have access to a selection of fruit. In the evening you will be served a nutritious two course meal.
Cheryl loves making sourdough so we'll aim to get some sourdough made whilst we're there.
Any food intolerances, allergies or special diets can be accommodated for (please specify in the booking form).
**Some diets may cost extra, please email us to find out. Special diets need to be requested by 21st February.
Cheryl will be guiding the Yoga practices throughout the retreat, guiding you through energetic, sweaty Vinyasa flows and gentle, calming Restorative yoga, weaving in Nidra and Nadi to guide you during your time on your mat. Cheryl teaches yoga from the heart and offers a warm and light approach to the practice whilst weaving in the spiritual elements of the practice, including meditation, pranayama and Nidra practices. She is also an anatomy enthusiast and loves to integrate her understanding into her teaching.
Cheryl attained her L3 diploma, 200 hrs yoga teacher's training (YTT) in 2011 with a CQY Accreditation . Cheryl completed her advanced 300 hrs YTT with YogaLondon in spring 2021. Cheryl loves to learn about yoga philosophy to understand the depth of the practice as a way to understand herself better. Cheryl has trained in Pre/Post Natal Yoga, Kids Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga and Sound healing to offer a well rounded experience and yoga offering.
Cheryl's teaching is inspired by various styles of yoga and all the amazing teachers she has practiced with.
