I wish I’d found Cheryl when I was pregnant and feel so lucky I found this class! Having tried a few baby yoga classes which, for me, were more like gentle stretching and didn’t have many activities for baby, this class is just the workout for my body and mind. In between the yoga we sing songs with actions to our babies and the setting (dim but with dazzling lights for babies) is so welcoming and relaxing, Cheryl helps us mums soothe the babies and it’s been a real highlight of my maternity leave! - Melissa Higginson
Post Natal yoga is a great way to start exercise after having baby without needing a baby-sitter. The class focuses on mind and body relaxation for mothers and babies. The class includes babies, with the main focus on mums. The practice will focus on easing back pain, shoulders, wrists with subtle abdominal work along with developing pelvic floor (mulabandha) strength exercises to help strengthen all the muscles which worked hard during your pregnancy.
The first 6 weeks post partum are a time for you to bond with your baby. If you has a cesarean sections by the end of the 8 week post natal period you can start practising. Listen to your body and seek medical advice if you are unsure.

The post natal yoga class will give you time to bond with your baby. The practice is made up of baby massage, singing nursery rhymes, breathing exercises and the asana practice. For new mums this is a chance for you to gently relieve any physical aches you may be experiencing with particular emphasis on the back and shoulders. Whilst regaining pelvic and abdominal strength.
