The practice will also help you prepare for your labour, mentally and physically, learning to trust the innate wisdom of your body.
Pregnancy is a time of profound change for a woman and partnership. Whatever your experience of getting pregnant has been it's likely you're feeling like you're on a bit of a roller-coaster of emotions; excitement, wonderment, apprehension, a sense of being whelmed at this miracle growing inside you.
Whether you're a seasoned yogi or new to yoga, or having your 1st 2nd or 3rd or 4th baby then a pre-natal yoga practice will be a wonderful addition to you right now.
As advised by NHS pregnant women should be active to help the body stay healthy and strong, as well as helping during birth and post natal recovery.
Pre-natal yoga will also help you have a more, relaxed and calm birth. Birthing without fear in the knowledge that your body has knows how to birth your baby in exactly the same way that it innately knew how to grow your baby.
